BOONE, N.C. — Class is back in session at Appalachian State University after parts of the campus were flooded following Hurricane Helene. Unfortunately, Some students aren’t able to return to class due to their off-campus housing being damaged by that deadly storm. The University says it is helping staff and students with short and longer-term housing options. Some students will be allowed to go remote learning
