BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Boru Ramen and Sweet Society are leaving the Electric Depot in December.
Sweet Society and Boru Ramen, sister restaurants owned by the Wong family, will move to 4957 Essen Lane in January. The former Copeland's of New Orleans building will act as a temporary home as the owners work to find a permanent location, the dessert shop said.
The new location will also have a new menu for Sweet Society.
"While we're saying goodbye to a few favorites like taiyaki and soft serve, we're thrilled to introduce a new concept that will be exclusive to our new location," the owners said.
The final day at Electric Depot is Sunday, Dec. 1. Updates on a grand opening will be shared on social media.
