FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Friday afternoon!
Weather continues to improve across Central Ohio as we get closer to the weekend! Temperatures today will return to more "seasonable" numbers with plenty of sunshine. This recent warming trend will carry us through the weekend, even into next week!
Sunny skies, light winds, and high pressure will remain steady today. Temperatures are on their way to the upper 60s for the afternoon - fairly normal for this time of year. Overnight, skies remain clear, but temperatures won't be as cool. Most of us will fall to around 40 degrees for Saturday morning.
For Saturday, the final day of the Circleville Pumpkin Show, it will be more like a taste of late summer. Temperatures will climb into the lower 70s with plenty of sunshine. Sunday continues to get warmer, with numbers closer to the mid 70s with sunshine once again.
Sunday morning will be brisk for runners in the Nationwide Children's Half & Full Marathon. By race time, we'll be in the lower 40s. By the afternoon, we're hovering close to the lower 60s with the high temperature for the day in the mid 70s.
Looking ahead to next week, the warming trend continues. We're steady in the mid 70s through Wednesday with sunshine. Wednesday night into Thursday, a cold front will slide through with a few showers. A big cooldown will settle in for the end of next week with temperatures falling to the lower 60s.
