Giants rookie receiver Malik Nabers had “headaches and throbbing in the head” as concussion symptoms while recovering the past two weeks, he said Friday. “It was scary when I couldn’t remember what happened or couldn’t remember the last play I was in, it was kinda scary,” he said of the initial concussion in his first comments since that Week 4 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Nabers believes he lost consciousness when his head hit the turf. The last thing he remembered was Daniel Jones throwing him the ball. The focus then turned to getting back on the field only “when I feel right.” “I really wanted to be out there,” he said. Nabers rejected the notion that he did anything irresponsible by attending the Travis Scott concert while in the concussion protocol. “I mean, that’s my business,” he said. “What I do outside this facility has nothing to do with what the media thinks or whatever they got going on. That’s my business.” He said lights and sound weren’t giving him problems at the time, which is why he went. Now he’s cleared and ready to go against the Eagles. He said he may wear a different helmet now to protect his head from future concussions and impact. This is a developing story, check back for updates.
