The Primetime 585 Spotlight team is the Pittsford Girls Swimming and Diving Team.  They finished another undefeated season and are ranked 1st in Section Five. They're also a top ranked team in New York State. The Panthers are trying for their 23rd consecutive sectional block! They have some of the best swimmers in Lexi Lombard--who swims the 100 free & 50 Free. She's made the state cut already in the 50. Molly Bennett swims the 100 breaststroke and 50 free. Sarah Kunze swims the 50 Free and 100 Free. Two of their relays have made the state cut already, even before sectionals--the 200 free relay and 400 free relay. We must talk about coach Marty Keating, the winningest coach in Section Five. Coach Keating is retiring after 53 years as head coach. Marty is the first African-American swimming head coach in Section Five and his 23 consecutive sectional championships are the most consecutive sectional wins in any sport. He head to retirement in very good spirits. "I feel very joyous and very blessed," Keating said. "He has high expectations, but we also for ourselves want live up to those expectations," Pittsford senior Maura Sheehan said. "We have high expectations of ourselves."
