PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Firefighters in Providence responded to reports of a heavy fire at a multi-family home Thursday night. Crews were called to the commercial and residential building on Broad Street around 7 p.m. Fire Chief Derek Silva posted on X that they were able to get the flames under control in about an hour.
