NORTH DAKOTA (KXNET) — North Dakota is getting some key funding when it comes to Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations. The funds are coming from the Federal Highway Administration. They were set aside for the state's Department of Transportation (DOT) to help support the development of EV fast chargers, in up to 16 communities throughout the state. Mandan to host public meeting to discuss transportation study Officials say that the $1.2 million will make North Dakota more accessible to both in-state EV drivers and out-of-state tourists, by helping alleviate range anxiety.
