WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Sedgwick County judge charged a man with murder in connection to a shooting early last Saturday morning. Armando Martinez-Rodriguez was charged with second-degree murder; unintentional but reckless, for the homicide of Marco Gomez-Arias, 30. The shooting happened just after midnight on Saturday morning from the 4200 block of S. Hydraulic at the Emery Gardens apartment complex. Liam Payne’s family releases statement as more details, autopsy results emerge in singer’s death Police arrived and found Gomez-Arias suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition, where he died. During an investigation, police found Martinez-Rodriguez with stab wounds who had left the scene. He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and later arrested. Martinez-Rodriguez is next due in court on Oct. 28.
