SHAWNEE, Okla. (KFOR) — A Shawnee man is back in jail after allegedly stealing from several people in the same neighborhood. Toni Matasci's camera captured Jeremy Meeks outside of her home in early August. "My head's on a swivel and I don't feel safe anymore," said Matasci. She said Meeks has been going around her neighborhood for months and stealing from people. "My motorcycle was stolen," said Matasci. "A few of my other neighbors had some stuff stolen, and my neighbor next to me had a lawnmower stolen." Matasci said Meeks was just arrested for stealing her motorcycle, but bonded out and then returned to her neighborhood, this time stealing her neighbor's security camera. "He looks into the security camera, and he just takes it and he puts it in his pocket," said Matasci. "It just makes the community feel not so safe anymore." Matasci said she had just bought her motorcycle so she could ride it back and forth to school. Moore Police arrest one after $15K in LEGO sets, collectables stolen "I needed that to get to the city because the car that I have right now, it doesn't run very well. It has a transmission issues," said Matasci. "I had to drop all my classes." Meeks is now facing charges ranging from petty larceny to larceny of an automobile. Meeks said she's worried he'll be back. "I'm constantly peeking out my window, constantly checking my camera and seeing if somebody is in my yard, or somebody is stealing my stuff," said Matasci. "Clearly, he's done the same thing over and over. As soon as he bonds out, it's just the same thing." Toni said she has a court date soon and is hoping to get restitution for her motorcycle.
