NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The bets are on! Caesars New Orleans has undergone a multi-million-dollar renovation. The $453 million transformation adds new restaurants and bars, including Emeril's Brasserie, Nobu and the Octavia Bar. "We are just going to be a lot more to everyone than we used to be. Little known fact is that Caesars is never used with an apostrophe because the idea is we are all Caesars and every guest can experience it," said Samir Mowad, the general manager of Caesars New Orleans Hotel & Casino. New experiences are here from the Sports Book to the food hall. "We no longer have a buffet, we have more international celebrity chefs such as Bobby Flay, Cake Boss' Buddy Valastro and James Beard award-winning chef Nina Compton," said Mowad. Emeri Lagasse also has a new restaurant, Emeril's Brassiere, inside the newly renovated casino. "Emeril is not cookie cutter and he wanted to open his first brassiere here, and we are excited," he said. The highly anticipated internationally beloved restaurant Nobu is now open seven days a week. "Sushi and sashimi are a big part of it, but there are a lot of signature hot and cold food dishes," said Mowad. With Masquerade dance club now closed, Caesars now has a brand-new lounge called Octavia. This new lounge has a beautiful $750,000 chandelier. "The volume of the space of Octavia is jaw-dropping," he said. Caesars New Orleans now also has a new Nobu hotel and a new Caesars tower. "We've added a 340-room hotel," he said. They are excited to finally show off all that it has to offer guests. "We've literally touched every square inch of the preexisting property. We made a joke to 'Caesarize it.' When people come in, we want them to get that Caesars experience with the gaming, the dining. It is all premium," said Mowad. Caesars is now home to the former Harrah's casino.
