GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Human remains were found in a wooded area Thursday morning, the Guilford County Sheriff's Office reports. Around 11:30 a.m., deputies responded to a call regarding human remains in a wooded area near 1465 Alamance Road. Officers located the remains and confirmed they were primarily skeletal bones. The GCSO Major Crimes Investigative Unit is working to confirm an identity and cause of death. This investigation is active and ongoing. No further information is available at this time.
