High temperatures reached the 60s earlier today and our gradual warm-up is underway. The past 3 days have all experienced highs in the 50s. Soon, afternoon temps will reach the 70s. Now, after all this talk of warmer afternoons, we can't forget how cold it was this morning when the official temperature at the Fort Wayne Airport dropped to 29°. The record low was 24°, so we weren't that far off! For this evening, temps started in the 60s and are falling through the 50s. These temperatures keep falling tonight under our clear sky and with our light wind. We end up with another freezing morning with a low of 32° as Friday starts. Another frosty morning coming. Our sunny Friday will have a light, southerly wind, which will help boost our Friday afternoon temp to the upper 60s. By Friday night football time, temps will fall to around 60° at kickoff and be in the 50s during the games. There's a fall chill in the air for Friday night football this week. Our weekend forecast features highs in the 70s both days and lots of sunshine. High temps will remain in the 70s through Wednesday. No significant rain is in our forecast.
