COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– SC Lottery officials say a Midlands woman was at work when she jotted down some numbers that won her a Powerball prize. She spotting the lucky numbers on items she was handling but kept dropping. And she took the clumsiness as a sign she should try her luck, which ended good in her favor as she won $100,000 while playing the Powerball. The Midlands woman played the lucky numbers at the Palm Pantry on Hwy. 321 in Winnsboro for the August 10 drawing. All but one number matched (9, 24, 33, 64, 69 and PB: 9). The odds of that happening are nearly 1 in a million. “It was so exciting. I’m spending some and saving some,” she said of the win. Categories: Local News Tags: SC Lottery
