Fall leaves   COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– As the Fall weather starts to blow into town, so are all of the Fall events that is happening the Midlands. There are several family-friendly events from festivals to the state fair to trick-or-treat events for people to enjoy. For a list of things happening in the Midlands this Fall, look below:  Flight Adventure Park (741 Fashion Dr) is holding a Fright Night on Friday, Oct. 25, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. As well as a Monster mash on Sunday, Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.   Richland Library is hosting its Not-So-Spooky Halloween Stroll, the family-friendly outdoor experience will be throughout downtown’s Main Street District on Thursday, Oct. 24, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The stroll is free and open to the public. Participating businesses include: Richland Library | 1431 Assembly Street MSD x Jam Room Music Festival | Corner of Main & Hampton Street Miss Cocky Boutique|1450 Main Street Columbia Marriott | 1200 Hampton Street East Bay Deli|1426 Main Street Sylvan’s Jewelers|1500 Main Street Doctors Care|1538 Main Street Drake’s Duck-In | 1544 Main Street Something Special Florist & Gifts |1546 Main Street Columbia Museum of Art |1511 Main Street Carolina Hair Studios|1537 Main Street Suite A Mast General Store | 1601 Main Street Nickelodeon Theatre|1607 Main Street Columbia Arts Center | 1227 Taylor Street Shvaas Spa | 1716 Main Street COMET Bus | Corner of Lady & Main Street Halls Chophouse | 1221 Main Street   Richland Library will also be hosting a series of events for the Fall season with a Fall celebration, a Halloween kick-off celebration, a quiet Fall celebration, and a Play Freely: Escape the Haunted House event.   Historic Columbia is hosting Trunk-or-Trick event on Monday Oct. 28, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Put on your costume and enjoy the free event on the grounds of the Robert Mills House. There will be awards and prizes for the best costumes, and best decorated trunk/table at 6:45 p.m.   Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a Trunk-or-Treat on Oct. 31, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be free hotdogs, chips, drinks, and plenty of candy.   Airport High School, and Brookland-Cayce High School is hosting Halloween trick-or-treat events. At both schools student organizations, faculty, staff, and volunteers will be handing out candy to children. Brookland-Cayce High School’s Trunk or Treat is set for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, October 22, on the school’s campus at 1300 State Street in Cayce. Airport High School’s Trick or Treat Lane is set for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 28, on the school’s campus at 1315 Boston Avenue in West Columbia.   Richland School District Two is holding its annual Boo at 2 event and is calling all ghosts and ghouls to join in the Halloween fun. There will be games and sweet treats starting at 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Oct. 25, at 763 Fashion Drive in Columbia. Categories: Local News
