COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County is mourning the loss of a long-serving EMS worker. The Columbia Fire Department says Lieutenant Britton ‘Spike’ Ogden died on Monday morning, Oct.14. He served 18 years with Richland County EMS and worked alongside firefighters to help save lives. If you want to pay respects, visiting hours are from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday night, Oct. 17, at the Thompson Funeral Home on Augusta Road.
