AUSTIN (KXAN) -- This morning was Austin's coldest since April 22nd with lows in the 40s and 50s. After afternoon highs rebounded into the 70s we'll find ourselves looking at another cool night. Tonight won't be quite as cool as last night with most areas in the 50s instead of the 40s, but it will still be cooler than normal. We'll notice more clouds around on Friday, but a southeasterly breeze will help to push temperatures back into the low 80s. A very slight rain chances is in play, mainly west of I-35, during the afternoon and evening. Rain chances are less than 10% and any showers we see should be brief and light. More clouds on Friday Our warm-up continues through the weekend with mid 80s along with a blend of sunshine and scattered clouds. The weather should cooperate well with the Texas vs. Georgia game as well as Formula 1 at COTA. Weekend forecast Heat continues to build with highs pushing 90º by the middle of the week. Rain continues to be hard to come by, by there are limited signs of wet weather during the final week of the month. MISS THE COLD?
