What if I told you music has the power to heal and induce life transformation? Peruquois Frances, a stand-alone female vocalist, has a voice capable of stopping “time and opening the floodgates of the mystery”. But her gift reaches deeper bounds. Through her potent workshops and healing music, Peruquois helps women make personal breakthroughs. How often do you turn to music as a motivator, an escape, or even a coping mechanism? When our sense of hearing is stimulated by music, it elicits a feeling—sad, happy, excited, angry, etc.—which is unique for each individual. Not only do instrumentals evoke emotion, but the lyrics play a major role in the overall experience of songs. For Australian-born Peruquois Frances, she considers both instrumentals and lyrics, but what stands out in her music is the vibration in her voice—something so transcendent it has the power to heal. From a young age, Peruquois miraculously discovered she could split her voice in two into a harmonic overtone, and through the pure vibration, integrating Native American, Indian classical, Middle Eastern, and electronic flavors, it produces healing overtones for listeners. She heals people through vibrational song—a musically inclined female Tony Robbins if you will, except her impact roots women to their divine feminine energy. Originally a trained jazz singer, Peruquois shifted beyond what she thought was possible for herself, becoming not only a musician and singer but also a composer, lyricist, concert performer, and women’s workshop facilitator. On September 8th, she began working with the world leader in neurophysiology, Alexander Kaplan, a professor and number one in the world for converting people’s thoughts into the text on their screen. Since 1997, Peruquois has been spreading her light to thousands of women and is on this earth to help, heal, and save womankind. Today, I had the privilege to share in a discussion to unearth the healing properties behind her enchantingly ancient voice: Interviewer: What is the science behind the healing properties of your voice? Peruquois: We have a lot of interesting results that were achieved using a scientific method. When we talk about the healing powers of the voice, most of the test approaches check a person’s aura/biofield, which showed a noticeable change after just twelve minutes of listening to my voice. But we also use standard medical tests like heart rate variability and many tests in different settings where people listen to MP3s for 10–12 minutes or go through extensive live events like a workshop or a concert. We have 2-3 hours of measurement going on. The different tests all support the general idea that the effect is clearly noticeable and supported by tests with site psychologists. They did the test before the psychological test, we did the measurement, and then we tested it with a psychologist after to see if there were any results in terms of subconsciousness. It was clearly displayed in the results. Interviewer: From what I understand, music initiates a physical response, but when individuals listen to your voice, it elicits healing properties through vibration. How? Peruquois: Each song is like an elixir of healing because it brings to light a different sickness or aspect or something that needs healing in a woman. And she can sing that song with me, she can dance that song with me. It’s not just happening in the concert room, but it’s happening for her. She can switch on the Internet. It’s there, she can listen and watch on YouTube, it’s there. She can go very deeply into a particular condition and heal it. Whenever I create a course or a practice, there are always two aspects to it. There’s the actual practice, the psychology of healing, and then there’s the song and the music and often dance, all of which I’ve created. I created a practice where people are entering the body, releasing fear and anxiety, and nourishing the body with their voice, their breath, and their touch on the body. It’s a 15-minute practice. We scientifically tested it, and it brings people from a place of stress and anxiety to inner harmony in 15 minutes. I also created a vocal soundtrack. And this vocal soundtrack doesn’t have words. It’s purely vibrations. These vibrations are very powerful. I got this trigger in my life, and I realized it was time to start to create with it, to bring it to the stage, to bring it to the studio. I started creating these healing soundtracks, mostly they’re without any lyrics, which is beautiful because there’s nothing mental there at all; it’s pure vibration. And I’m splitting the voice into these harmonic healing overtones. Interviewer: Can you talk about the audience’s aura before and after listening to certain types of music? How can these auras change? Peruquois: The changes are phenomenal. We use proper scientific forms of testing as well as less scientific and more spiritual testing. Professor Korotkov, who created Gas Discharge Visualisation (GDV), the world’s most-used device to register aura, is a close friend of one of the researchers I work with. So we did hundreds of auric field tests before and after the live shows or recorded soundscapes (mp3). After 12-15 minutes of exposure to my live performance or recorded healing soundscapes, amazing results showed up. Interviewer: While your voice carries the amazing ability to heal others, does it do the same for you? When did you discover you had this gift? Peruquois: Whenever I’m singing, I have this enormous power coming through my body. When I was 23 years old, I had an incredible realization where I was at a crossover—a dark night of the soul moment in my life—where I was crossing from jazz and asking the real question, “How can I help to heal myself and how can my voice help to heal people rather than just entertain?” That was that moment I had a very deep realization where I was asking this question, “Should I jump off the edge of this cliff? Or is it possible to find another way to be here?” At the time, life was not making sense with just success. I had this profound realization of this incredible vibration coming up through my body. That was when I first experienced this feeling of time-stopping. This earth spirit felt like it was singing through me, and it felt like five minutes. But I had been sitting there emulating the sound for 2 hours. This is when I realized that underneath every sound we hear on this planet is this incredible vibration of feminine earth energy that is nourishing, healing, life-giving, life-taking, feminine principle, feminine energy. At that moment, I said, “If there’s any way I can help to heal people, then please, sing through for me.” Ever since that moment, I had this vibration, this very deep vibration, coming through my body, and it comes out in all the different voices that my body sings through because I can sing in so many different ways and styles. But fundamentally, whenever I’m singing, this vibration is always healing my own body. To experience the healing properties of Peruquois’s “ear-watering” music for yourself, visit her website today.
