Lake Humane Society is partnering with Ken Ganley Subaru to host a special adoption event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Subaru dealership, located at 28840 Euclid Ave. in Wickliffe. Attendees will have the chance to meet and adopt kittens, puppies, and adult dogs from Lake Humane Society, according to a news release. All adoptions will be conducted on a first-come, first-approved basis. Interested adopters can complete an application on-site or fill one out online prior to the event. However, organizers note that people submitting an application online does not guarantee that the animal will be available when they arrive. This Subaru Loves Pets Adoption Event is made possible by a grant from the ASPCA and the Subaru USA Grant Program. The goal is to find loving homes for over 15 animals in just one day, the release stated. In addition to co-hosting this adoption event, Ken Ganley Subaru will be donating $100 for every pet adopted from this event. Also, all adoption fees for adult dogs will be reduced by 50%. Organizers also encourage attendees to bring items from the shelter’s wish list throughout October. Donations can be dropped off at Ken Ganley Subaru or Lake Humane Society to Oct. 31.
