Visalia medics helping victims of Hurricane Helene

VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE)—American Ambulance of Visalia is helping people thousands of miles away after Hurricane Helene swept over large parts of the East Coast.
Officials announced over the weekend that an ALS Paramedic ambulance from American Ambulance of Visalia was going to North Carolina. The agency posted a photo on social media showing the team had stopped in Tennessee.

"Our hearts go out to all those affected by this disaster, and we are committed to supporting the community of North Carolina in any way we can," American Ambulance of Visalia posted to social media.
Since then, posts on social media show American Ambulance of Visalia has been helping the U.S. Forest Service and providing medical support for personnel and trail crews working to clear fallen debris and restore trails.
