KINGS COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Kings County Sheriff’s Office is warning drivers to exercise caution after multiple incidents involving knocked-down “Stop” signs and damaged "Stop Ahead" signs.  Kings County says they are aware of three incidents since Sunday and are working to identify the vandal(s) and fix or replace the damaged or missing signs. "Stop Ahead" signs, typically placed 500 feet before an intersection, have also been damaged or removed altogether.  The Kings County Sheriff’s Office urges all motorists to slow down and remain vigilant when approaching intersections, especially in areas where “Stop” signs or "Stop Ahead" signs are missing or appear damaged.
