WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Single-family home prices in Rhode Island are continuing an upward trend that began in 2017, according to RI Realtors.
The price has risen 6.6 percent year-over-year in that time, with September 2024’s median sale price sitting at $485,000.
This is $30,000 higher than it was in September of 2023.
There has been a slowing in sales despite rising inventory, and closed sales dropped by three percent with pending sales falling by 2.2 percent.
Condominium prices have followed suit, with September’s median sales price up 12.5 percent coming in at a record high of $427,450.
