PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — A kindergarten teacher from Pawtucket got a surprise from President Joe Biden at the White House. Kelly Beckford was talking about what it would mean if her student debt was forgiven when Biden walked in to deliver the good news. "Hey Kelly!" Biden said. "Stop it! It's so nice to meet you!" Beckford exclaimed. The moment was captured in a video put out by the White House. "By the way, you're $46,000 richer. I just forgave your debt. Done, done, done, done and you deserve it," the President said.
