OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - The Oklahoma Breast Center is highlighting Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the launch of its High-Risk Program, designed for patients at an elevated risk of breast cancer. The new program is set to come into compliance with the new FDA regulations that require imaging centers to provide breast density assessments in mammogram reports allowing for more informed healthcare decisions and understand their risk, says Oklahoma Beast Center officials. Alongside highlighting awareness the announcement also welcomed Barbara Mortellaro as its new Patient Navigator, providing a critical resource for patients during the journey of navigating care.
