LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — A Central Kentucky Court of Appeals judge is grieving the loss of two family members who were killed in a car accident earlier this week. Judge Pamela As reported by the Lexington Herald Leader Goodwine’s 19-year-old granddaughter, Journee Padgett, and Padgett’s infant daughter, Alanee Grace, died in a collision in Michigan on Tuesday. Judge Goodwine shared her heartbreak in a Facebook post, stating, “They had so much life in front of them, and the love and joy they brought into our family, and the world, will never be forgotten.” In the wake of this tragedy, a family friend has set up a GoFundMe page to assist with funeral expenses, which has raised over $10,000 so far. The community is coming together to support the grieving family during this difficult time.
