LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — A candlelight vigil to honor survivors of domestic violence will take place Thursday night in Lexington, organized by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office. The “Rise Up: Domestic Abuse Survivors Candlelight Vigil and Tribute” aims to raise awareness and support for those affected by domestic violence. The event is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Courthouse Plaza on North Limestone. Attendees can expect guest speakers, music, and food as part of the evening’s program.
