PRESCOTT, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities in western Wisconsin near the border of Minnesota say that a patrol officer was placed on administrative leave after an incident while serving as a substitute teacher. The Prescott Police Department in Wisconsin released information about an alleged incident involving an off-duty patrol officer. On October 16, the department was reportedly made aware of the incident while the officer was a substitute teacher within the South Washington School District. The department said that based on information from the school district and the active investigation by the Woodbury Police Department, the officer was put on administrative leave. The officer was identified as Steve Williams, a two-year veteran of the department.
