(WFRV) - Authorities in Fond du Lac County say three people were arrested on multiple charges after they led deputies on an almost 7-mile pursuit late Wednesday night. According to a release from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office, deputies made a traffic stop at 11:12 p.m. on I-41 near Military Road in Fond du Lac on a vehicle for an equipment violation. The suspect vehicle reportedly began increasing its speed and ignored the deputy's emergency lights and sirens as it continued to flee north on I-41 After an officer with the North Fond du Lac Police Department successfully deployed Stop Stick tire deflation devices on I-41 near Winnebago Street, the vehicle slowed and was eventually brought to a stop after law enforcement used a box-in maneuver. Once the vehicle was stopped following a 6.7-mile pursuit, officials say deputies conducted a "high-risk" traffic stop and took the driver of the vehicle and two passengers into custody. The driver of the vehicle, a 24-year-old man from Green Bay, was said to be out on a cash bond for two felony cases out of Brown County for manufacture/deliver fentanyl, possession of narcotic drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The 24-year-old was arrested and taken to the Fond du Lac County Jail on charges of felony fleeing and eluding, two counts of felony bail jumping, possession of drug paraphernalia, and will be issued numerous traffic citations. One of the passengers, a 41-year-old man from Oneida, was out on parole for 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety, manufacture/deliver heroin, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested for possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a felony warrant through probation and parole. The second passenger, a 24-year-old woman from Green Bay, was out on a signature bond for four open cases through Shawano and Brown counties for felony bail jumping, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of narcotic drugs. Authorities say no one was hurt throughout the 6.7-mile pursuit and at this time, no other information on the incident is available.
