Semi crashes on I69 northbound, causing backup near Markle

HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - Drivers headed north on Interstate 69 are experiencing a traffic jam Thursday after a semitrailer crashed.
The crash happened sometime around noon at mile-marker 284, the Indiana Department of Transportation said. That's roughly the distance from Plum Tree to Markle, between IN 124 and US 224, according to INDOT TrafficWise.

An alert from Huntington County officials confirmed a semi was involved in the collision. It's unclear if anyone was hurt, or how many people were involved.
The right northbound lane was closed as emergency crews continued to investigate the scene.
