Charlotte, N.C. – The Carolina Panthers and Belk, a Charlotte-based department store company with nearly 300 locations across the Southeast, proudly announce a multi-year partnership agreement. With a shared mission to make an impact in the Carolinas, the partnership will place particular emphasis on the Panthers community pillars including social responsibility, health and wellness, and youth and high school football. Together, the two organizations will collaborate on several community-oriented programs and events, beginning with the “Concert for Carolina” show at Bank of America Stadium on October 26. Belk is a partner for the special benefit concert with all proceeds going towards Hurricane Helene relief efforts. “Ever since our doors first opened 136 years ago, Belk has a proud history of supporting and celebrating the communities we serve,” said Don Hendricks, CEO of Belk. “We’re proud to call Charlotte our hometown, and through this partnership with the Panthers, we’re looking forward to working on even more impactful programs together here in the Carolinas.” In addition, Belk will support the Panthers annual Joy to the Carolinas event later this year.   “As one team that reaches across two states, we’re committed to the Carolinas and it’s important for our partners to share that passion when we are developing our business relationships,” said Kristi Coleman, Carolina Panthers Team President. “We’re excited about the opportunities our partnership with Belk presents not only for our organization, but for our community and fans.”   Starting in 2025, Belk will present the annual Keep Pounding High School Classic football game, which invites local teams to kick off their seasons under the lights at Bank of America Stadium. Another key element of the partnership denotes Belk as the presenting partner for the family-friendly Tree Lighting Festival. This annual celebration brings holiday cheer with interactive craft stations, classic winter snacks and beverages, a clothing donation drive and appearances from Sir Purr, Sir Minty and the TopCats. Belk will also present the Junior TopCats camps and clinics for young women interested in arts and entertainment next year.
