BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) -- Alzheimer's Services of the Capital Area will host its 30th anniversary of its Walk to Remember on Saturday, Oct. 19 The event will be from 8 a.m. to noon at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, 5525 Reitz Ave. in Baton Rouge. Registration is underway right now for those interested in participating or making a donation. The walk is the local organization's largest awareness event. It will also kick off Alzheimer's Awareness Month, which is in November. The organization is an independent nonprofit. All of the money raised during the walk will stay here and serve families across communities in the Baton Rouge area.
