BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) -- Gov. Jeff Landry met with Rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Landry posted this message on X, formerly known as Twitter, "A big thank you to Curtis Jackson @50cent for meeting with me today! Louisiana is lucky to have someone like him investing in our economy. I look forward to our continued work together to build a better future for Louisiana!"
Jackson said on X, "Me, Shreveport Mayor Tom Arceneaux and Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry had a great meeting today."
In April, the City of Shreveport welcomed 50 Cent and G-Unit Studios to the city. The rapper has spent some time in Louisiana this year, including a visit to Barksdale Air Force Base.
According to IMDb, the rapper has won 15 awards including a Primetime Emmy.
