FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Two people are dead after a vehicle crashed against a home in Fresno following a pursuit, the Fresno Police Department said. Police say they were advised of a pursuit over the radio between a suspect, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office and other law enforcement around 9:30 p.m. As the pursuit concluded, officers say the suspect's vehicle, a white Tahoe, crashed into a home in the area of Cedar and Nevada avenues. The vehicle went inside the residence, leaving a deceased person as a result and another one trapped underneath the SUV. However, police said just before 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday that the person trapped, an 18-year-old man, was pronounced deceased. The Police Department and the Fresno Fire Department responded to the scene, and as of Wednesday just before 11 p.m., units say they were trying to help individuals inside the home. They add another person was also injured as a result of this collision. The driver was detained. This is an ongoing investigation.
