It was with great pleasure that I saw Ari Ioannides enter the race for Summit County Council. Having known Ari and his deep level of community involvement over the years it was obvious that he has much to bring to the council.Ari has a footprint that covers a broad swath of Summit County. He resides on the East Side and is a key part of many of the organizations that make our county a great place to live. His most recognized role has been in the revitalization of the Park City Institute. But Ari is deeply involved in public safety having transformed the North Summit Fire District management into a professional organization, preserving open space through Rocky Point Preserve, as well as devotion to education, ecology and solar energy.He has committed himself to the public good all the while building a successful entrepreneurial career.
