LAKEVILLE, Mass. (WLNE) — Part of the highway was shut down yesterday after an accident sent one to the hospital in Lakeville.  According to the Lakeville Fire Department, Rt. 140 was shut down due to a crash before 8 a.m.  The incident occurred just south of the County Road on ramp. According to officials, the patient was extricated and transported to St Luke’s Hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life threatening. Officials said the highway was briefly closed to allow firefighters to operate safely at the scene.   Categories: News
