Oct 17, 2024
A contractor’s revised schedule means two segments of U.S. Highway 18 in south central South Dakota won’t be finished until next year (2025).
The South Dakota Department of Transportation says prep work to put asphalt shoulders on U.S. Highway 18 from Dallas to Burke and from Martin to Swett will begin in early April….weather permitting.
The $15.1 million project goes through Tripp, Gregory and Bennett counties.
