ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Wednesday night was a cause for celebration a StarBridge's 2024 Community Champion Awards. The organization recognized Jane Gabriele and Maria Rodriguez as well as the Greater Rochester Parent Leadership Training Institute for their contributions toward creating a supportive environment. Gabrielle is an attorney who works with families who have disabilities. Rodriguez works for Meals on wheels and helps create job opportunities for folks with disabilities as well. They commemorated the event with a show at Comedy at the Carlson. StarBridge is a group that supports more than 14,000 people with disabilities in the Finger Lakes region, helping achieve success in education, employment and healthy living.
