PENNINGTON — The Pennington School girls soccer team cruised past Hun, 7-0, on Wednesday afternoon in the opening round of the Prep A Tournament. Meg Balerna had a hat trick and Maya Raghanundanan scored twice for the second-seeded Red Hawks (9-2), who won their eighth straight game. Hafsa Hussain and Kayla Raghanudanan were also on target for Pennington. The Red Hawks face third-seeded Blair in the semifinals. The seventh-seeded Raiders fell to 1-8-3. Blair 6, Peddie 1 BLAIRSTOWN — The sixth-seeded Falcons (4-5-2) were overpowered by the third-seeded Bucs (9-2).
