MOUNT AIRY, N.C. (WGHP) -- An armed suspect is dead in Mount Airy after a pursuit on Wednesday, according to a statement released by the City of Mount Airy. The suspect was found in the Flatrock area. A police K-9 named Draco was shot and killed, according to the Mount Airy Police Department. No officers were injured.
