Atlanta man faces drug charges after traffic stop in Baton Rouge, police say

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department arrested a man after a traffic stop.
Patrick Dallas, 36, of Atlanta, Georgia, was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. He's charged with possession with the intent to distribute a Schedule II drug (cocaine), possession with the intent to distribute a Schedule III drug (Promethazine with codeine) and possession of a legend drug without a prescription.
On Sunday, Oct. 13, special investigation officers initiated a traffic stop on a black Toyota Corolla for a traffic violation, according to Baton Rouge Police.
During the traffic stop, officers discovered around 13.2 pounds of cocaine, 24 bottles of Promethazine and two bottles of Promethazine with Codeine, according to Baton Rouge Police.
