TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A total of 26 people have been arrested following a domestic violence sweep in Tulare County throughout the month, the Tulare County Sheriff's Office said. On Wednesday morning, Tulare County Sheriff's detectives say they, along with 10 officers from local law enforcement agencies, spanned out across the county to bring domestic violence offenders to justice. Deputies say this Domestic Violence Sweep was part of the 21st Annual National Family Violence Apprehension Detail held during October, the Domestic Violence Awareness month. According to sheriff's officials, 26 domestic violence offenders have been arrested so far this month. However, due to the nature of the arrest warrants, the names of those arrested will not be released to protect the identity of the victims.
