The coldest night of the week is settling in, with widespread frost across the region! Daytime highs will return to the upper 50s on Thursday before our warmup then commences. We will get back to the 60s on Friday and Saturday and then the 70s are in store through the middle of next week! Sunny skies will continue through this stretch, with no rain in sight – some models suggest a lack of measurable rainfall all the way until Halloween! We have entered an abnormally dry period throughout New England, and this could worsen into a minor or moderate drought with the upcoming stretch. This means continued good viewing of the comet C2023/A3, visible in the western sky shortly after sundown through next week. The comet will get higher in the sky and set a little later each day, but it will also get fainter as we progress into the second half of the month.
