FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) — Detectives are investigating a violent incident that happened early Wednesday morning in Fall River. Police said they were called to a home in the 400 block of Dickinson Street just after 4:30 a.m. They arrived to find a 42-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the head and a 55-year-old man with stab wounds to the head and neck area. Both were taken to area trauma centers. At last check, the woman was in critical condition and the man was stable, according to police. Police are now looking into what led up to the violence.
