(WGHP) -- Partly cloudy skies gradually clear into the evening hours with light north winds. Temperatures fall into the 40s by 8 p.m. A cold night is in store for the Piedmont Triad as temperatures fall into the mid to upper 30s by Thursday morning, making it the coldest morning since April 7. With such cold temperatures, frost advisories are in effect for nearly the entire Piedmont Triad from 2 a.m. to 10 a.m., which means you should bring those plants inside or protect your crops. Sunshine dominates again Thursday, and afternoon temperatures reach the low 60s.  We'll get another chance for patchy frost Friday morning as temperatures will be in the mid to upper 30s again. We'll see afternoon temperatures climb into the mid-60s with a light northeast wind and sunny skies.  Temperatures continue to warm back up slightly heading into the weekend, and we'll return to near-seasonal temperatures. Saturday morning starts off in the low 40s with highs reaching the upper 60s. By Sunday, morning temperatures remain in the mid-40s, but we'll reach the low-70s by the afternoon. For those not quite ready for the cold weather, next week our morning temperatures will return to the mid to upper 40s, and our high temperatures will reach the mid-70s with sunny skies.
