TWO RIVERS, Wis. (WFRV) - The former operator of a haunted house in Two Rivers was sentenced in court on Wednesday just about a year after being arrested in connection to sexual assaults.
38-year-old John Schwarz of Two Rivers reached a plea deal to sexual assault and mental harm to a child. One of the four charges he had originally faced was dropped due to a no-contest plea.

"I really hope that is going to serve as a motivator for you to do the very hard work to make the changes that need to happen," Manitowoc County Court Judge Jerilyn Dietz said at sentencing.
The sentence amounts to the time he's already served since he was arrested. However, he also has five years of probation.
Schwarz could face additional jail time if he has contact with anybody under 18 years old.
