ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) -- A Fort Wayne man currently facing an attempted murder charge in Noble County also faces an armed robbery charge in a separate case in Allen County that reportedly happened in September. The charge, filed Wednesday in Allen Superior Court, accuses 23-year-old Blake Frederickson of holding someone at knifepoint and stealing their car during an incident that happened Sept. 5. According to Allen Superior Court documents, a person was taking Frederickson and another person to Foster Park in Waynedale. When the driver pulled into the park, he told police he felt hands come from behind him and go around his neck along with a knife at his throat. After that, the driver grabbed the knife, resulting in a small cut on his hand, and exited the vehicle while Frederickson reportedly chased him, according to court documents. The driver claimed Frederickson started to become upset during the ride because the driver had pulled into the wrong entrance of Foster Park. Frederickson faces a single charge of armed robbery where a person takes property by force or threatens use of force while armed, which is a Level 3 felony. Man allegedly admits to shooting woman in Kendallville parking lot: court docs The reported incident comes roughly one month before Frederickson was arrested in Kendallville and being accused of shooting a woman in the head during an argument. Court records show there is an active arrest warrant for Frederickson in Allen County, although he is currently booked into the Noble County for his attempted murder charge.
