Local Living: “NotSoSpooky” Halloween Stroll, Boo at the Zoo, Blythewood Fall Championship Rodeo, Pink and Purple Walk

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, the Richland Library is hosting a “Not-So-Spooky” Halloween Stroll.
There will be fun and festive encounters as you trick-or-treat at participating businesses on Main Street.
It takes place on Thursday, October 24, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public.
Boo at the Zoo starts this Friday and goes through October 30, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each day at Riverbanks Zoo.
The event is full of fun activities including Eeky Freaky DJ Dance Party, a mummy maze, and of course trick-or-treating throughout the zoo.
Don’t miss the 4th annual Blythewood Fall Championship Rodeo.
The event features 8 rodeo events along with arena entertainment and plenty of food.
It takes place on Oct. 25, and Oct. 26, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on 10433 Wilson Boulevard.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $12 for kids ages 6 to 12, and free for kids ages 5 and under.
Columbia VA will host its annual Pink and Purple Walk this Friday.
It is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the wellness path behind the parking garage on the Dorn Campus.
Officials say to wear your best pink and purple outfits for the best dressed contest where the winner will be announced after the walk.
The event will raise awareness for breast cancer and domestic violence awareness month.
