WILLISTON, ND (KXNET) — A woman is being charged with drug paraphernalia possession after she was found in a laundry room with an electric scale that had suspected methamphetamine residue, and three syringes with a clear substance. According to the Williston Police Department, on October 11 at about 5:05 p.m., officers responded to a call about people reported to be sleeping in the laundry room of a building on the 2800 block of 17th Avenue West. The officers found a woman standing in the laundry room, and asked her if she could provide them with a form of identification. She said she didn't have one, and initially refused to give the officer her name, though she eventually complied. Minot woman who poisoned boyfriend sentenced to 45 years The woman, who was identified as Kuersten Haylie Lee, confirmed she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. The officer took her into custody and searched her belongings, where they found an AWS functional electric scale with suspected methamphetamine residue in a suitcase. Three syringes with a clear substance were also recovered and seized for destruction.
