BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — iHeartMedia Baton Rouge launched a new radio station with R&B and "Back in the Day Jams" on Oct. 14. 104-1 The Vibe (KVDU-FM) will play music from artists like Michael Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Jodeci, Anita Baker and Usher. It will also feature well-known personalities, including Steve Harvey on the "Steve Harvey Morning Show" and Keith Sweat on "The Sweat Hotel" at night. Bionce Foxx and newly appointed Program Director Miss Monique will also be part of the lineup. The station will run commercial-free for the first three weeks, according to a news release. “This is an exciting and long overdue opportunity for Baton Rouge listeners to wake up with the nationally successful Steve Harvey Morning Show and end their day with Sweat Hotel," said Senior VP of Programming of Louisiana/Arkansas markets Bob Murphy.
