BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The juvenile arrested in the shooting death of a 12-year-old boy in Lamont has been identified by prosecutors as Javier Leo Armendariz. Prosecutors on Wednesday said a petition alleging first-degree murder has been filed against Armendariz. His age was not released. Man charged in 2-year-old’s death was investigated for abuse in Nevada: report Armendariz is scheduled for a hearing in juvenile court in December, prosecutors said. Armendariz was arrested Oct. 10 in the 7000 block of Di Giorgio Road. He was booked into Juvenile Hall. The victim, Tristen Rudy Alexander Aguilar Rodriguez, was found dead around noon that day in the 8800 block of Gregory Avenue, according to sheriff's officials.
