AUSTIN (KXAN) — On Wednesday, the Austin Police Department released surveillance video related to an Oct. 1 homicide investigation. According to APD, the video is believed to be of the suspect involved in the investigation. PAST COVERAGE | One dead, two hurt in northwest Austin homicide According to police, on Oct. 1 in the 12000 block of Research Boulevard in northwest Austin, one person died and two others were injured in a shooting. APD said the person who died was later identified as 17-year-old Nathan Ockleberry. At the scene, police said two victims were found in a parking lot with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. A third person was also hurt but took themselves to the hospital.
